Three Join Ruby+Associates

Ruby+Associates, Inc. is proud to announce that a new engineer, a BIM technician and a summer intern have joined the firm.

Michelle Atto, PE joins Ruby as Project Engineer I, Damon Boone is hired as BIM Technician, and Mario Galindez will spend the summer with Ruby as an engineering intern.

Atto joins Ruby after spending three years as an Associate and Senior Structural Engineer with a Chicago-based engineering firm. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a Minor in Math from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Engineering in Civil and Materials Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Michelle is a licensed professional engineer with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Boone joins the Ruby team officially, after working with the firm as a contract employee for a year. Damon earned a BS degree in Technology Management, magna cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University, as well as an Associate's Degree in Architecture/Construction Technology from Henry Ford Community College. He is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAMP) from the Project Management Institute, Great Lakes Chapter. 

Galindez joins Ruby as a summer intern from the University of Michigan. While at U-M, Galindez spent a summer as a pavement/CAD co-op as well as an inspector/intern for two Detroit-area engineering firms.  He also led the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at U-M and served as Assembly Finance Chair for the Engineering and Central Student Governments.
