Ruby + Associates Promotes Seven Engineers

Ruby+Associates, a structural engineering firm dedicated to serving the construction industry, announces seven promotions within the firm’s engineering department.

Myles Badour, PE has been promoted to Senior Project Manager. Tim Barth, PE, and Enzo Stante, PE have been promoted to Project Manager. Nick Dulak, PE has been promoted to Project Engineer I, while Shery Gergis, Evan Hanes, and Jon Yaldo have been promoted to Engineer II level.

Myles Badour, PE, has been promoted from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager. Badour joined Ruby in 206 after 8 years with a Chicago-based engineering firm. His experience with Ruby includes automotive work such as conveyor support design, roof steel reinforcement, and construction means/methods. Myles is a member of the Ruby Culture of Quality committee and he often manages large, complex projects.  

Tim Barth, PE has been elevated from Project Engineer to Project Manager. With over 29 years of total industry experience, Barth has worked extensively for automotive clients including General Motors in Arlington, Texas; Flint, Michigan; Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and other locations. Tim was an important member of the GM ‘M5’ team, the largest project in Ruby’s history. 

Enzo Stante, PE has also been promoted from Project Engineer to Project Manager. Stante has over eight years of industry experience. He has focused much of his career on automotive-related projects including electric vehicle battery manufacturing plants in two U.S. locations. Stante spent time working for a Detroit-area contractor as a Process Engineer so he brings a balanced perspective to Ruby’s projects with construction clients.

Nicholas Dulak, PE has been promoted from Engineer to Project Engineer. Dulak joined the firm in 2019. His experience includes erection engineering services for two Major League Soccer stadiums; the new Georgia State Convocation Center; and various automotive projects. Nick serves as a Peer Mentor at Ruby, he spends time as a Ruby Recruiter at the annual Michigan Technological University career fair, and he volunteers with Life Remodeled. 

Shery Gergis has been promoted from Engineer I to Engineer II level. Gergis was a 2020 contract employee through Aerotek and was hired full-time with Ruby in 2021. She has worked extensively on truss reinforcement for various projects. In addition, she has supported a recent electric vehicle battery manufacturing project with pipe support connection design and framing/header layout. Shery is a member of Ruby’s Article Discussion Group.

Evan Hanes has been promoted from Engineer I to Engineer II. Hanes was a Michigan State University intern with Ruby in 2020, and was hired full-time in 2021. Hanes has worked on a variety of projects for automotive, educational, and commercial clients. He is a Ruby Peer Mentor, a Life Remodeled volunteer, and he represents Ruby at Michigan State career fairs as a recruiter.

Jon Yaldo has been promoted from Engineer I to Engineer II level. Yaldo joined Ruby as a contract employee in 2020 and was hired full-time in 2021. He has experience in nearly all of Ruby’s service sectors including work on a U.S. Naval base; a cooling tower project; and foundation design work. Jon volunteers with Life Remodeled and he is a member of Ruby’s Article Discussion Group.
