Ruby+Associates, a Degenkolb Company, Announces Newly Licensed Engineers

Ruby+Associates is proud to announce that Michael Hermo, PE, P.Eng., Jonathan Yaldo, PE, and Evan Hanes, PE, have each passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Examination and obtained professional engineering licensure from the State of Michigan licensing board. Michael Hermo has also earned his Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) license from Canada.

Hermo, a Designer with Ruby, took the PE civil structural exam in December 2024 and received positive results from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in January 2025. He also obtained his Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) license from Canada in 2024. Hermo earned his Bachelor of Applied Science with Honors in Civil Engineering and his Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Windsor.

Yaldo, a Design Engineer with Ruby, joined Ruby full-time in May 2021 after spending a year with the firm as a contract employee. He took the PE civil structural exam in December 2024 and received positive results from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in January 2024. Yaldo has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering with Co-Op from the University of Windsor. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan.

Hanes, a Design Engineer with Ruby, took the PE civil structural exam in March 2024 and received positive results from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in June 2024. Hanes  holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan.
