Carey Weaver

Always possessing an intrinsic fascination with designing, creating and solving problems, Carey's life has taken many interesting turns. After earning his bachelor's degree in general studies from Western Michigan University, Carey began working for an attorney in their claims department. More than fifteen years later, his heart was still pushing him to do something else.  He went back to school - this time for engineering - and graduated in May 2020 with a BS in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University.

Carey applied for many internships, but had a discussion with Dave Ruby that made him focus on Ruby as his first choice. The rest is history! Carey rocked his internship and was hired on full-time upon graduation. Oh, and did we mention that he's a semi-professional drummer in his spare time? Carey has been playing for almost 40 years and has performed everywhere from California to Afghanistan. He plays with the Steve Taylor Three, writing and recording regularly.
