"The culture at Ruby encourages continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and a positive team environment. Combined with the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, it truly is a great place to work."

Like many young Michiganders, Michelle is originally from the area, spent some time out of state, and has returned to be closer to family. She joined Ruby with 10 years of experience, most recently as a senior structural engineer with a Chicago engineering consultant. She is skilled in structural analysis and design, and has jumped right in as an essential team member to support some of Ruby's large, complex projects.

Michelle received her BSE in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a Minor in Math from the University of Michigan, and a MSE in Civil and Materials Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois. She was selected as the 2022 Structural Engineers Association of Michigan (SEAMi) Young Structural Engineer of the Year.
