Tim Francisco, PhD, PE

Associate

"I’ve always loved building things, and the process of figuring out the best way to do it. Now I get to do that as a career!"

After spending as long in school as he possibly could, Tim joined the work force at Ruby and is enjoying applying what he’s learned to unusual and exciting projects. He looks forward to learning even more about the practice of structural engineering, and developing new skills - engineering and otherwise.

In his spare time, he loves amusement parks, roller coasters, board games, and a variety of friendly sports competitions.

Tim holds a BS in Civil Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering (both with High Honor) from Michigan State University Honors College. He also holds a BS in Civil Engineering and PhD from Purdue University. In 2023, Tim was selected as the Structural Engineers Association of Michigan (SEAMi) Young Structural Engineer of the Year. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Michigan.
