Designing stability solutions for erection engineering.
The Lucas County Arena is Toledo’s newest entertainment venue and home of the Toledo Walleyes, the newest franchise in the East Coast Hockey League. Ruby+Associates provided erection engineering assistance to Henry Gurtzweiler, Inc., as each 202-foot roof truss was assembled on top of a shoring tower. Ruby designed horizontal bracing and anchorage fixtures to provide stability and vertical adjustment as the roof was completed.
