Conquering connection design challenges for a 2.2-million-square-foot venue.
Working with Southern Steel, Ruby+Associates performed connection design services for this 2.2 million square foot shopping and entertainment venue, which included difficult, skewed connections and large plate girders supporting large loads. When a structural redesign increased forces on some of these connections a year later, Ruby re-examined fabricated connections and provided reinforcement.
