Designing complex framing connections for support during construction.
Revel Entertainment Group developed a beachfront entertainment resort on twenty acres of land along the Atlantic City Boardwalk. The $2 billion twin-tower mega-casino appears as if it were sculpted by ocean waves, which presented framing challenges for Helmark Steel. Ruby+Associates worked with Helmark to design complex framing connections that support enormous trusses and plate girders during construction. Ruby also accommodated design changes that occurred during fabrication/erection.
